The late Mr. Gene Hamil built Hamil's Restaurant in 1977. Bob, the oldest of three sons, became the head chief in 1994. Since then Bob has been cooking up some of the best southern cooking you'll ever have the pleasure of eating.
As soon as you start up the gravel driveway you'll begin to smell the delicious aroma of hickory smoked pork ... from the smoke house out front. That down home feeling sets in when you step onto the front porch on the pine log cabin. Inside you'll find happy faces enjoying delicious southern cooking.

Very good food! I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. A little crowded, but worth it.
